I love the story so much! There is a lot of blood and a little bit of nudity but not much. Its an amazing story and an amazing horror film!!! This review Helped me decide. Had useful details. Not much swearing and the gore is great, i love films that have an interesting story line one of the best movies of all time not scary though, just leaves you questioning if something you do might lead to death after wards.

Teen, 13 years old Written by Jaerei September 6, Absolutely terrifying This movie was so panic inducing and scary- it was very violent and graphic and also there was some sexual references.

So so scary, it really triggered my fight or flight response haha. Read my mind. Teen, 15 years old Written by AlienFan September 3, Teen horror at its best. I think that final destination works as a horror and thriller and a drama.

The story works and has a driving force to it. I am pleasantly surprised to say that I loved this movie! In the initial plane crash, there is sight of skin being burnt away as well as people falling out of the plane and more. There is a stabbing, a hanging and a scene where a teenagers head gets chopped in half. We see the cover of a penthouse magazine as well as one shot of the inside. A plane explodes, causing several windows in an airport to shatter; fire spreads through a house and we later see it explode; and a car catches on fire with someone inside, but the person escapes before the car explodes.

A driver speeds into oncoming traffic and also removes his hands from the steering wheel the car is nearly hit by many other cars and a truck ; also, a speeding train runs into a car no one is inside. In several different scenes a person is nearly hit by a bus, a train, a car, a marquis, a pole, a tree stump and a power line.

We see a corpse in a funeral home with thin, bloody cuts on its neck and a tube filled with blood sticking out of the side of its neck; someone removes the tube and we hear a squirting sound and see, in close-up, a little blood spurting from the hole.

Someone pulls a bloody knife out of a blood-soaked person's chest. A boy gets a small, bloody cut on his neck while shaving. We see an aerial view of two boys sitting on toilets in adjoining stalls; also, we see another boy sitting on a toilet. Some scatological humor. Specific people are "scheduled" to die at specific times, but the schedule can be manipulated. Be aware that while we do our best to avoid spoilers it is impossible to disguise all details and some may reveal crucial plot elements.

He freaks out, and is taken off the plane with five others who somehow get caught up in his hysteria. Sure enough, as Alex and a classmate argue at the gate, the plane takes off without them and explodes. One-by-one those six who escaped the plane begin to die under curious circumstances. Alex becomes convinced that the six of them cheated Death and now Death is coming to get them in the order they would have died on the plane.

Alex, still having visions, is determined that if he can figure out Death's design, he can save the lives of those who got off the plane. So desperate is this film to create an aura of suspense and foreboding that by the end of the film, any object in existence could be a weapon in the hands of the grim reaper. This certainly makes for suspense, but not good suspense.

Perhaps the film loses a lot of ground here when, in the opening sequence of the film, the camera lingers on the cover of the book Death of a Salesman.

This is the degree to which the filmmakers are trying to spook us and fail; by referencing the title of a book that has nothing to do with the death of anyone. Watching this film merely becomes a countdown to gore as curiosity over "how" someone will get it overshadows any curiosity over "who" will get it.

Overall, the film proves disappointing. Are our lives pre-determined, or do we have free will? To what degree are we able to control what happens in our lives?
